Ramadan kareem!

This morning I read a thoughtful, informative, intelligent, well-written article here, which had many ugly and disrespectful comments attached.

I probably will not fast for Ramadan this year, as I did not know it was beginning till after sunrise today (and therefore had no breakfast yet), but maybe this month is a good time to begin my move toward vegetarianism. The only meats I really like are bacon, salami, fish and oysters. If I can do without meat except for those, that would be a start.

I'm babbling ahead of caffeine again.
