At work I hear stories II

A man retired at age 55. He could afford to: no debt, all vehicles and two houses paid for, $80k in the bank and a retirement income of $2k monthly. He went out in the Atlantic in a boat, threw his toolbox overboard and tossed his wristwatch after it. Then his brother-in-law was killed in a motorcycle wreck and his sister went to pieces. He went back to work; moved in with Sis to help with her three kids. Then Sis has a car wreck, someone dies, Sis goes to prison. Now he's raising his niece and nephews and retirement is out of sight.
