They probably don't spell it that way, being as it's in a bookstore...
I had fun. There were at least a dozen of us, which in a county of only 20,000 is a pretty good showing, IMO.
Next time I should bring something that needs less concentration, as the simple twist stitch (which I still love) suffered tinking and frogging while I was there, and once I got home I discovered mistakes several rows back...
...which for once I'm going to ignore.
Today I worked the second sock to the heel flap, while browsing the Bernat site for patterns. I found several, including an easy-looking Aran (for me) and a hooded sweatshirt (also for me), several sock patterns and some pullovers for the grands, who will be two and five this year.
I may work on using up some of the acrylic stash next.
On the other hand, these are really calling to me.
Does it ever end? I hope not.
