if we keep coming back till we get it right, assuming a whole bunch HAVE got it right and haven't come back, then the few of us who are close to getting it right are among a whole bunch who are lower than us on the ladder... which explains why the struggle is so hard, why after all this time there is still injustice and cruelty. The nearly enlightened and the nearly soul-less are all that populate this world. That's why we're stunned when our human rights / animal rights / pro equality / anti exploitation candidate doesn't win. There are too many with too heavy a karma burden, and they're voting against what's right.
well, that sounds arrogant - no idea where I am on the karmic ladder but I do hope I'm near the top; I do try.
