Yesterday I began working on S.Turner's Double Diamond circular face cloth, and find this is a perfect pattern for knitting-backwards practice. All the K2togs and yos are done on one side; the other side is plain knit.
Essentially I'm purling backwards, as the untextured part of the cloth is done in garter. My first wedge I did the conventional way
Oh, I also used a different cast-on, a figure-eight over waste yarn, which should make it much easier to join the first and last wedge at the end.
