I am back on the same job as before th'Mr's surgery. When I left in early December it was scheduled to end Dec 23 anyway, but it seems those who didn't want to leave were transferred to the other side, what we'd come to know as The Dark Side (LOL). This is where I'm working now, at the top of a 245-stair trek (my knees turn to jelly about halfway up) but thankfully sheltered from the elements by sheets of plastic. Monday we pulled wire, yesterday we made up light fixtures.
Yesterday morning I was stuck on the ice in C&S's driveway, C had to pull me out with his tractor. Yesterday afternoon I stopped in at Lowe's and bought some sandbags, but even with the extra 300# over the back wheels I still couldn't get the van more than 3/4 of the way up the driveway last night, and this morning it's covered by a couple inches of snow.
C's computer runs a lot slower than mine at home does, which is why I haven't blogged the last couple of days. Working ten hours, driving two hours, aiming for eight hours' sleep and a little socializing in the evenings doesn't leave a lot of time for waiting for pages to load. (C has satelite, while at home we're still on dialup; this "slow" problem is CPU related, more about this another time)
Well, 5:45AM and it's time for me to get on the road. More when I'm able.
