You know what keeps me going? I have 14 cats. If I were not here, what would become of them? Who would feed them, love them, talk to them, take them to the vet? Sure, some would be re-homed, but 14? And some of those are ferals. Someone would have to move in here and take over, and since there isn't anyone to do that, I have to stick around. They are both comfort and burden. ~This~ just may be the phenomenon of Crazy Cat Lady explained.
