2007 and 2008.
In 2003 (I think; may have been 2002 or 2004 though) this plant was just a little twig I dug up from a hedge down the road.
If I had my way, Spring would last ten months. Then we'd have two weeks of 110 degree summer, then a month of beautiful fall colors, then two weeks of two-foot-of-snow on the ground winter, then back to Spring.
