It's Monday, and I'm not at work.
It is really hard for me to leave home Monday mornings (and easy for th'Mr to convince me not to go). Imagine how hard it would be if I were leaving every morning, instead of just once a week!
It's not a great idea financially, though. At least I don't have to worry about losing my job. I'll have that till it ends, unless I really screw up (fail a drug test, get caught with a camera, etc).
Haven't seen any hummingbirds in three or four weeks, but I'm leaving the feeders up a little longer for stragglers. The goldfinches are all now brownfinches. Overnight temperatures have been in the forties. The leaves are turning -- maybe it'll be a pretty fall. Maybe the cold weather will pass as quickly as the summer seemed to. I'm already ready for spring, and planting.
