yarn shop

I hadn't dared hope someplace with a name like Kanawha City Yarn Company was an actual yarn shop; I'd put off driving by because I expected to be disappointed, but Tuesday after work finally did the inevitable. And found. A. Yarn. Shop. Wool! Alpaca! Cotton! Corn! I'm speechless. They're even open hours that support my schedule. They have classes. On steeking! Whoa. I will have to knit faster to justify what I'll be buying.

Currently OTN:
a toboggan and sox for th'Mr (wool blend, to be lined with alpaca)
the Vanna scarf (acrylic)
a 3D potholder (cotton)
Mom's fingerless gloves (bamboo)
the log cabin blanket (wool blend)

Now to find an uncrowded library from which to access the internet, and a place to do yoga, and my worklife will be complete.
